Journey Together With Cancer Warriors On An Icy Charity Trek In Mongolia
Join us for Beyond Limits 4: On Ice, happening in Feb 2023!
This is Beyond Expeditions' 4th charity expedition for the Singapore Cancer Society. This time, we're trekking across Mongolia’s largest freshwater lake in the dead of winter to raise funds for our cancer warriors!
Registration is now open and we’re looking for cancer survivors, caregivers and like-minded expeditioners who believe in our cause of fighting cancer. We’re capping it at 20 participants total, more details below!
In winter, Mongolia’s Lake Khuvsgul freezes over completely, with surface temperatures reaching -40 degree celsius lows. On the vast icy plane, freezing water creates astonishing patterns: white streaks marbling the deepest, darkest blue.
This is where our team of charity expeditioners and cancer survivors will trek and camp for 4 arduous days. Through extreme whiteouts, harsh winter winds and other dangerous conditions that may arise on the lake’s exposed surface.

Beyond Limits is a series of yearly charity expeditions hosted by Beyond Expeditions. Each time, we journey into the wilderness of a remote destination, to complete a trek in the most extreme conditions we can dream up. We challenge ourselves to go beyond our physical and mental limits, with one aim - to raise awareness and funds for causes we believe in.

800KM SOLO EXPEDITION ACROSS MONGOLIA BY FOOT FOR CANCER

It all started when our founder Scott lost his grandfather to lung cancer. That motivated him to trek 800km across Mongolia in a solo expedition on foot to raise funds for Singapore Cancer Society. The aim? To inspire cancer patients to never give up and always believe in life’s limitless possibilities - and show them there are countless big-hearted humans willing to weather this journey with them.
Soon after, Beyond Limits became a yearly affair. Different charity causes for the same purpose - to raise awareness and funds for the people in need.
